Clark Evans

Clark Evans, 18, has played cello for 9 years, and piano for 13. He started taking lessons from Jean Rankin at age 11, but at 13 began to study under Mary Beth Tyndall, his current teacher. Recently, Clark graduated from Sabino High School, and next year he is attending Brigham Young University with a double major in biomedical engineering and cello performance. Clark has received numerous awards not only for his cello playing, but also on piano and for several of his compositions, some of which have been performed frequently on a local level. In addition, he is an active swimmer, a certified lifeguard, and an Eagle Scout.
