Music Under The Stars™

he Tucson Pops Orchestra has brought high quality outdoor concerts to the Tucson community since 1955. Orchestra founder, Georges DeMeester, with his collaborator, Ernest Hoffman, started the tradition with 22 musicians 65 years ago and because of enthusiastic public support, the orchestra has now grown to 50 professional musicians who play to audiences of up to 8,500 in their Spring and Fall programs.

SAAFB FOOD TRUCK RALLY

SAAFB (Southern Arizona Animal Food Bank) coordinates the food trucks for the concert series. To date, SAAFB has assisted more than 800 families throughout Southern Arizona who need help caring for their pets by giving more than 100,000 pounds of animal food. Donations of a bag of animal feed would be greatly appreciated.
