Enrique “Hank” Feldman

Enrique “Hank” Feldman is a Performing Artist, Educator, & Public Speaker whose influence is worldwide. A native of Tucson and a graduate of the University of Arizona, he is the former Director of the UA Pride of Arizona Marching Band, Pep Band, and Symphonic Band. He is also a former Professor of Music and Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Hank has conducted and/or was the Music Director for a great number of local ensembles, including many musicals such as Le Mis, CATS, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and A Christmas Carol. He toured with the musical CHICAGO, has performed at the Red Rocks Outdoor Theatre in Denver, Colorado, the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hungary, and has made many appearances in Mexico and Canada as a performing artist and guest lecturer. Hank has also composed, orchestrated and recorded for film, including the Sundance film, Gun Hill Road. As the Founder of the Global Learning Foundation, which has served over 235,000 children and families, Hank has created original resources for all ages, including Sam the Ant® (Co-Author) Children’s Books; iBG® Intellectual Brainwave Games; and Sumerian® Inaudible Tone Technology. As a public speaker, he is known as an organizational mental fitness and Brain fitness coach. Hank is an Executive Board Member for Fight Cancer Global®, and a member and steering committee member for Local First Arizona. He is an avid foodie, devoted father, husband, and the cook for his family.

Michael Fan

You know Michael as Concertmaster of the Tucson Pops, but he also composes pieces for children that incorporate original music with re-imagined classics and original stories. Goldilocks, The Ugly Duckling, and The Princess and the Frog have been performed as ballets by Dance Southwest. Dr. Solara and The Fossil Fools and Phoebe the Photon were featured at the Aspen Science Festival. The Little Fiddle, written for the TSO Piano Trio, is available on the album, New Kids Classics, along with Beethoven’s Mouse. Other composing projects include film music for the eco-western Patagonia Treasure Trail. Michael plays music in a wide variety of genres, including klezmer, tango, and jazz. In 2019, he performed as part of the Tucson Jazz Festival with the band No Fiction and for the 50th anniversary celebration of the honky-tonk band Dusty Chaps. We are proud to have such an outstanding and versatile musician as our Concertmaster!

Dennis Tamblyn

Having studied opera and musical theater, Dennis Tamblyn is a cross-over artist that enjoys performing both genres. Dennis is the General Director of the Southern Arizona Performing Arts Company (SAPAC) and sings with various theater companies around town such as Arizona OnStage, Arts Express, Oro Valley Theater Company and Studio Connections. Dennis has received MAC nominations for SAPAC’s production of [title of show] and he was nominated for Best Actor for his role as Max Bialystock in “The Producers”. Dennis holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Music from the University of Arizona and University of Northern Colorado, respectively.

Erin Anderson

Erin Anderson is vocalist/ actress based in Tucson, AZ. She has had the privilege of performing in many theater productions in the Old Pueblo. Some favorites include Arizona Onstage’s Les Miserables (Eponine), Triumph of Love at the Roadrunner Theater (Leonide), Godspell at St. Francis in the Foothills, and most recently Southern Arizona Performing Arts Company (SAPAC’s) The Hot Mikado (Pitti-Sing). In addition to theater, she is the female half of the jazz duo Erin and Sean, and the lead vocalist in the local band Sonora Borealis.
