Tyler Kebo
Tyler Kebo is a California-born, Arizona-raised musician. He started on piano when he was 5 and soon decided to learn percussion. He studied piano with Marie Sierra for many years, and has been studying percussion with his teacher, Homero Cerón, for about 10 years. In 6th grade, he was introduced to orchestral percussion as a member of the Foothills Phil under the direction of László Veres and has been in love with orchestral music ever since.

Tyler is currently a Junior at Catalina Foothills High School where he participates in both the Band and Steel Band programs. In these programs, he plays in various ensembles from percussion ensembles to the drumline with the rest of the band. He is also currently the principal percussionist of the Tucson Philharmonia Youth Orchestra, where he has been a member for 4 years. This performance of Ney Rosauro’s marimba concerto will be Tyler’s debut as a soloist.
